2025 3 on 3 Summer Series

The Ice Pond 3 on 3 Summer Series International is open to participants with birth years: 2016-2011. Each session of this 75-minute, fast-paced hockey program combines skill development drills and 3 on 3 cross ice games*. Every session is comprised of 45 minutes of skill drills followed by 30 minutes of 3 on 3 games* (two 15-minute periods).  Players "represent" international countries. *Each team will play two games a week.

3 on 3 hockey is considered excellent for youth players because it promotes rapid skill development by forcing them to make quick decisions, handle the puck more frequently in tight spaces, and actively participate on both offense and defense, all while keeping the game fast-paced and fun, which encourages greater engagement and confidence building compared to traditional full-ice hockey.
