The Ice Pond Goalie Academy will be a series of six (6) one hour sessions that will focus on goalie development.

This camp will focus specifically on goalies and the skills they need to utilize during a game to give their team an opportunity to succeed. Goalies will work on technique, movement, and skills to help them become better goaltenders at any level. This camp will be instructed by Mike Lane.

Mike has been coaching goalies for over 20 years. He is currently the goalie coach for NCAA Division III Marian University Men’s Hockey, the NCAA Division III St. Norbert College Women’s Hockey program, the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals and Arrowhead high school.

During the off-season, Mike is the Regional Director of Elite Goalies goalie camps, partnering with Mike Valley, goalie coach for the Dallas Stars, and lead instructor for the St. Norbert Goalie Camp. He also works with USA Hockey and WAHA as an evaluator and lead development camp instructor.

In addition, Mike provides one-on-one and small group goalie training throughout the year through his company, SGI Hockey LLC.
