COVID-19 Update: 

The Iowa Sports Foundation has determined new dates for 6 of the 15 main weekend sports for the 2020 Iowa Senior Games. The 6 events will run between August 15-23, 2020.
 
The sports being rescheduled include Bowling, Disc Golf, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball - Outdoor, and Tennis. All other sports have been cancelled for 2020. All events are subject to change based on COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.

Participant registration for the rescheduled sports is now open. Participants who have already registered for an event that has been rescheduled or cancelled will be contacted directly by an Iowa Senior Games staff member regarding their registration.

NEW VIRTUAL EVENTS ADDED
 
Although the in-person swimming and track competitions have been cancelled, we are giving athletes a chance to compete virtually in these two sports. This is a unique opportunity which will allow these athletes to compete in the Iowa Senior Games. These events are non-qualifying for the 2021 National Senior Games.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR BOWLING, DISC GOLF, GOLF, HORSESHOES, PICKLEBALL - OUTDOOR, AND TENNIS!

All online transactions will have a 5% processing fee. 

The Iowa Senior Games (ISG) is an Olympic-style sports festival for men and women who are at least 50 years of age.

The ISG offers opportunities to compete for medals in 30 sports and skill contests with nearly 100 events. Please join us for athletic/recreational games focusing on fellowship in a fun and exciting environment. Age groups are broken into 5 year brackets (50-54 / 55-59 / etc) with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded for each age group.

TEAM EVENTS
Each individual team member must register, pay, and accept the waiver. Managers are responsible to mail in a completed team roster. Rosters will be checked prior to competition to ensure all team members have registered for the Iowa Senior Games.

PRICING INFORMATION FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
The registration fees are by SPORT, not by EVENT. Example: Pickleball is a SPORT. Singles, doubles, and mixed doubles are EVENTS. You may participate in all three events for the same fee. Some sports require an additional fee to participate, such as golf and bowling. These fees will be listed on the sport page at www.iowaseniorgames.org.


The 2020 Pickleball qualifying event will be an Age/Skill event with individuals being separated into three divisions based on player rating. Please see below:
 ***Competition format is subject to change depending on number of participants.

Division 1: 4.5 – 5.0
Division 2: 3.5 – 4.0
Division 3: 1.0 – 3.0
 
Individuals are welcome to play up a skill level not down. When registering please select the correct division you will play in. If you are playing in doubles and mixed doubles you will be put in the proper division based on your player rating.

Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony is no longer a ticketed event and will be held at the virtually for 2020. 

**As you add events in the online system, a $25 fee will show for each sport. These fees will automatically be discounted in your cart as you add sports. Your cart total will reflect the correct final amount. Your cart total will reflect only the fees as described and any additional sports fees, including the processing fee.
