2012 Middle Level Honors Registration

Welcome to the Middle Level State Honors Audition Registration!

Who is eligible?
Students currently enrolled as full or part-time students in grades 6, 7, and 8 attending WSMA-member schools are eligible to audition for the Middle Level State Honors Project. Students applying to audition for Honors must be a member of their corresponding school music performing group at time of audition. Students invited for Honors membership must also be enrolled in corresponding ensemble during the fall Honors performance.

What is the deadline to submit registrations?
Registrations must be submitted on-line, by 11:00 pm on February 8, 2012. Payment and teacher signatures may be mailed the following week.   Late registrations cannot be accepted.

Here is what you need to register:
Note: To assist in gathering information, an audition registration worksheet is available from the WSMA Middle Level State Honors website.  Needed information includes;
- Student's Name, Instrument, Email, Address, Parent's Name, Parent's Email
- Teacher's Name, Email Address
- School's WSMA Account Number*
     *School must be a member of WSMA for students to be eligible.

Registration Instructions - Teachers Registering Students

1. To begin audition registrations - Log in as yourself.  This is the same login you used for State Music Conference, or for HS Honors registration.  If you have not yet created an account, complete this step before continuing.  This will allow you to receive the registration invoice/confirmation.

2. Select I would like to Register "Student(s)" then "Continue"

3. From the "My Participants" listing, click "New Participant" and follow the instructions to add a new student participant or select (check box) a student listed from past registrations.

4. Select (check box) student participant, then select "Register" (brown button) to choose Choir, Strings or BR/WW/Perc.  Select Instrument or Voice then click BLUE "Register" button.

5. (Next Screen) From the pull down menu, select Audition Site and Optional Time Request. 

6. At bottom of screen, click BLUE "Continue" button to proceed.

7. From "Pending Registrations" screen select "Add an Additional Registration for this student" (if auditioning for multiple ensembles,) or select "Complete Registration" to submit registrations. (Note; Students may register to audition for multiple ensembles, but only once per ensemble. 

8. A confirmation/invoice will be emailed to the email address provided.  A TEACHER SIGNED copy of the confirmation, (along with check or purhase order if option chosen) must be mailed to WSMA as soon as possible. Payment method options include credit card, check or purchase order.
        
PLEASE NOTE: Once you have clicked "Submit," your registration cannot be altered.  Audition fees are non-refundable.
